Purpose:

To provide the vision, direction, leadership and unity to create a dynamic future for the Sea Lake community.
To be a leadership group with the passion and drive to motivate and stimulate the development of a strong, thriving, supportive community.
To provide, maintain and develop a quality lifestyle for the Sea Lake community.
To facilitate the promotion of the Sea Lake district as a desirable area in which to live and work.
To provide opportunities for the development and expansion of enterprises, and recreational and social pursuits.
To provide representation for the Sea Lake community to local government and other regulatory bodies.
To apply for grants or other funding on behalf of, or on behalf of other organisations benefiting, all or part of the Sea Lake community.
To celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of individuals and the community, and to support and encourage the development of leadership.
To promote and develop tourism opportunities and preserve environmental assets.
To foster a sense of community which is supportive, co-operative and inclusive.

The Sea Lake community includes

all those who live, work, own businesses, attend schooling or are members of youth, aged, sporting or recreational organisations

in the Sea Lake district.
